Afifi Fahmi began his career with Geolab (M) Sdn Bhd as a Site Geologist. In 2014, he joined Schlumberger, where he was responsible for drilling operations on various types of oil wells, including Development (HPHT), Exploration, and Work Over wells. He subsequently rejoined Geolab (M) Sdn Bhd as a Senior Geologist and was later promoted to Head of the Marine Section. During his tenure, he managed several significant marine soil investigation projects, including the Marine Subsurface Exploration and Instrumentation for the New Deep-Water Terminal (NDWT) project in Kuantan Port, Pahang, the Offshore Geotechnical Investigation for the Melaka 2,242MW Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) Power Plant, and the Offshore Geotechnical Investigation Works for Pengerang Deepwater Terminal Phase 3 (PDT-3) in Pengerang, Johor.
In addition to these notable projects, Afifi Fahmi has overseen various services in geophysics and geological mapping. His extensive experience and contributions to the field underscore his expertise and dedication to advancing geological services.
